Sibenik
Šibenik is the most picturesque city on the eastern Adriatic coast. It was first mentioned in 1066.
The historical nucleus of Šibenik, with numerous churches and monasteries, stone houses and mansions, ornamented by portals
and heraldic crests, displeys its rich cultural heritage. The Cathedral of St.Jamesis the main destination for culturally
oriented tourismin the city of Šibenik. Built in Gothic - Renaissance style, the cathedral is added to Unesco World Heritage
List.
Natural beauties
The Krka National Park is a natural phenomenon of the Dalmation region. In its course towards the sea,
the Krka river created seven noisy, picturesque waterfalls, the best known being Roski Slap and Skradinski Buk, the
tallest tavertine barriers in Europe.
